This is a post series that I’ve done on every single blog I’ve ever started. I really enjoy writing this post but often it became so much of a chore that I resented opening my blog at all. So, I’ve decided that this may not necessarily be a weekly thing, but I’m hoping it will be!
Reading: Educated by Tara Westover.
This book has been sitting in my TBR pile for so long and I really had no idea what it was about at all. This morning I sat in the sun with a cup of tea and read for about three hours straight. It is a fantastic book that I highly recommend.
Listening: I’ve been listening to some really good podcasts this week. I’ve listened to Ready to be Real by Síle Seoige where she interviews Tommy Tiernan. I’ve also listened to Double Trouble by James and Oliver Phelps (aka Fred & George Weasley) where they interviewed Tom Felton. And I also listened to Deep Diving by Eoghan McDermott where he interviewed the very eloquently spoken Robert Sheehan. I loved every single one of these and am really glad I got back into listening to podcasts this week!
Watching: Myself and Himself have been binge watching Grey’s Anatomy! Currently on S6! I’ve also been watching Carl Mullan’s mini series on the RTÉ Player called Go Outside And Play which shows some of the incredible sights that Ireland has to offer! It’s made me really excited for the roadtrip we’re going on this week!
Smelling: If I haven’t already mentioned, I’m a huge fan of essential oils and diffusers. I have three diffusers in my home. One in the bedroom, one in the living room, and one in my meditation spot! A blend that I’ve tried out this week that I’ve really loved the smell of is one for rest and sleep!
– 100ml water
– 2 drops of Vetiver
– 2 drops of Cedarwood
(You can add in 2 drops of lavender into this blend but I find lavender makes me feel like I’ve got a cold so I try to avoid using it too much!)
Loving: The weather we’re having in Ireland at the moment. It is really sunny and warm!
Working On: Myself and Himself are working on our garden this weekend! We needed to treat the fencing and tried a few stains (which were hideous) and opted for a colour instead! It’s a really mindful activity, painting. I love to paint with watercolours, I hate painting walls in a house, but am finding painting the fence oddly therapeutic! We’re having lovely chats and spending lots of time laughing also which is definitely a great feeling!
So there you have it, my first Sunday Currently! I hope you enjoy getting to know me a bit better through these posts!
